Jersey Dementia
Jane Vincent from Dementia Jersey delivered an educational session about dementia awareness and support services, covering types of dementia, communication tips, and practical advice for supporting people with dementia in places of worship. Jane explained that dementia affects 1,600 people in Jersey and discussed how simple environmental adjustments like colour contrast, clear signage, and supportive seating can help individuals with dementia participate fully in religious activities.
