This in-person session invites clergy & treasurers to come together and discuss Parish Share and wider finances.
Event description
We invite all clergy* and treasurers to come together in person for an informative conversation about the 2026 Parish Share and the wider landscape of charity finances.
These gatherings are a chance to:
- Refresh your understanding of how the parish share scheme works and explore the changes coming in 2026.
- Share questions and reflections in an open, supportive space.
Alongside our Giving Advisor, we’ll also explore key areas of charity finance, including:
- Planning for growth in mission and impact, not just meeting immediate needs.
- Using restricted funds effectively and faithfully, honouring the intention of the donor.
- Accessing grants for capital projects and caring for our cherished buildings into the future.
- Shaping strong and realistic reserve policies.
This is a time to gather as peers, to share wisdom and experience and to encourage one another as we Make Jesus Known in every place, so that all may flourish, seeking his Kingdom here and now.
*All clergy are welcome, including Associate Priests and curates. If you would find this session informative, please join us!
