This in-person event will cover being a new Churchwarden, being a Trustee and an overview of the new Faculty process.
Course description
If you are new to the role of Churchwarden, a current churchwarden, or supporting someone who is, then come to along to this training event. This is relevant to all those that hold a role in the management of churches. It will cover what it means to be a trustee as well as top tips to make things run smoothly. The DAC Secretary will also be discussing faculties, latest news and developments to look forward to.
Who is this course suitable for?
For new and experienced Churchwardens.

The event will be hosted on Wednesday 22nd July from 7.00pm at St Nicholas Church, Wareham Road, Corfe Mullen, BH21 3LE.

Dan Crooke is the Diocesan Lean for Net Zero and as DAC Secretary overseas the Church Building Team. He administers the Care of Churches measure, the Faculty Jurisdiction Rules, Schedule 1 (List A & List B), and Church Building Quinquennial Inspections for the Diocese.
