This online event is the fourth in a series of sessions led by the Diocese of Salisbury Vocations Team for those who are exploring whether God might be leading them in a new direction, and focuses on parish-based lay ministry roles.
Louise Ellis (Archdeacon of Wilts) joins Karen Hutchinson (Vocations Coordinator) and other guests to reflect on the variety of lay ministry in parishes.
From PCC members to Lay Worship Leaders, school governors to churchwardens, Anna Chaplains to home-group leaders; lay ministry forms the bedrock of our churches. Explore possibilities for yourself, or enable yourself to support those ministering in your church.
Who is this event suitable for?
This session is open to anyone in the Diocese of Salisbury.
When and where:
The session will be held online via Zoom on Tuesday 30th September, and will run from 8pm to 9pm. You will be sent the link to join ahead of the event.

The Venerable Louise Ellis is Archdeacon of Wilts, and a former parish priest and Vocations Coordinator.
Revd Canon Karen Hutchinson supports and enables the growth of vocations to a range of ministries. She is also Associate Priest in the parish of Bemerton.
