Based in the Knowlton Circle benefice, the course comprises ten practical sessions to equip those who lead worship.
Course description
This course is required for those considering becoming Lay Worship Leaders. Using the Diocesan Handbook as a base you will learn something of the theology and history of worship, and reflect on the responsibility of leading others in worship.
Who is this course suitable for?
Anyone sensing that God might be calling them to lead worship from time to time. You will need your parish priest’s support to enrol on this course, so have a conversation with them first.
When and where?
All sessions take place at The Rectory, Cranborne BH21 5PX
Course start date – 17th July 2026
Additional Safeguarding training and a DBS check will also be required for those hoping to be commissioned as Lay Worship Leaders
