The team at Salisbury St Pauls are hosting a coffee morning for those who work in Safeguarding in the Salisbury area. This will be a good opportunity for local Safeguarding Officers and DBS administrators to meet face-to-face.
Who can attend?
Anyone who works in Safeguarding in the Salisbury Deanery. The Salisbury Deanery is made up of the following Benefices:
- Bemerton
- Fisherton Anger
- Salisbury St Mark and Laverstock St Andrew
- Salisbury St Martin
- Salisbury St Thomas and St Edmund
- St Francis Salisbury
- St George and All Saints Harnham
- Stratford Sub-Castle

What to expect from the coffee morning
Our hope with this meet-up is that it will be a space for all the PSOs across the Salisbury deanery to meet one another, network, provide mutual support, and be an opportunity to ask any questions or feedback to us on what are some of the difficulties that you are facing and any additional support that would be helpful from the diocesan team. I would like to reassure you that this would not involve any additional work on your part, and we hope that in setting these up, they will become a space for giving and receiving mutual support from each other alongside support from the diocesan team.
The coffee morning will be a good opportunity to receive mutual support on the safeguarding systems (Dashboard, Hubs, 31:8).

Jess Sargeaunt and Penny Cox (PSSAs) will attend the coffee morning to provide support.
Please note, the content of these PSO meet-ups follow closely to the regular PSO inductions we hold during the year. Therefore, we will be counting attendance at these PSO meet-ups as attendance of the PSO inductions as well. For any PSO who needs to attend a PSO induction, you can use the date of the PSO meet-up as the completion date.
