To support parishes with the rollout of the Safeguarding Hubs, Clearly Simpler (the company who provide the Safeguarding Hubs) are running a Zoom introductory training session.
What is the Safeguarding Hub:
Safeguarding Hubs are a platform for churches and parishes within the Diocese where recruiters can manage the DBS checks and Safeguarding training for volunteers.

For guidance on using your Safeguarding Hub, we have a User Guide, and there is further information and tutorials on Clearly Simpler’s website. We recommend taking a look at these before attending this support session.
The zoom session and duration:
This zoom call will be led by Clearly Simpler and will cover how to use Hubs for DBS and Safeguarding training management.
The session will be held on Monday 24th November and starts at 19:00 and finishes around 20:00.
How to book?
You must book your place at this session directly with Clearly Simpler.
Click the bright yellow ‘Visit booking page’ button on the left hand side and you will be taken to the booking page on Zoom.
Who can attend?
This support sessions can be attended by anyone who is actively involved with safeguarding and recruitment within the Parish/Church, for example Parish/Church Safeguarding Officers (including DBS Verifiers), Churchwardens and Incumbents.
We advise that this session will be useful mostly for those who have been given access to their Safeguarding Hub. If you do not yet have access to the Hub, you certainly can join this zoom session to get a feel of how the new system works.
How do I get access to the Safeguarding Hub and 31:8?
In July we circulated two forms that PCCs needed to complete to ensure they are given access to the new systems. If you haven’t done so already, please ensure you have completed the 31:8 registration form and Hubs registration form and return these to safeguardingforms@salisbury.anglican.org.
