This is the 3rd level of the Safeguarding Core Pathway and is designed for those individuals who play a lead role in shaping the culture of the church body concerned.
Who must complete this course?
The Safeguarding Leadership Pathway is a requirement for those who lead congregations, clergy, LLMs and Parish Safeguarding Officers. The course must be completed every three years.

Before signing up:
If you have not undertaken Safeguarding training before you should complete both the Basic and Foundation courses by going to the National Safeguarding Training Portal.
Pre-course work:
You will be sent the course workbook two weeks before the start date. You will be expected to complete a short piece of work before the course, and a reflection following the course.
The course and duration:
Both sessions must be attended, and pre- and post-work must be completed in order to receive certification for this training course. The duration is approximately 14 days.

- Session Two: 15/01/2026
Each session will start at 19:00 and end at 20:30.

About the course leader
Our Leadership courses are run by our outsourced Safeguarding Trainers. This course will be delivered by the Styles and Faal Safeguarding duo.
